Field Hockey Begins!!

Lyla fell for the oldest trick in the book and arrived at early morning practice only to get a solid hazing from the Varsity girls! They got dressed in silly outfits, a little face paint, and funny nicknames.

So far this season Lyla has played both Varsity and JV sticking true the Swing position. We haven't won many games but she does like being out there and playing.

Back 2 School

 Jason's last First Day of School Picture!! I can't believe Jason has already arrived at his Senior year. Totally not real.

Macy is not looking forward to starting 7th grade.

The River House

 Another glorious and wonderful trip to the River House. Lots of good fun and people to share the days with. The kids did as much tubing and jet ski's as possible. Macy and Saylor swam and played in the mud. We played games, ate good food, watched movies, and spent plenty of time in the water. We even had some firework fun! And we know that no trip is complete without a Jammer Concert...or at least as much of a show that we can manage! It was a little weird because this was our first trip without Jason. He has been on strict working rules (lifeguarding and teaching) without many days off.

Happy 12th Birthday!!

We had a mini celebration for Macy's 12th Birthday. She was happy to open presents and eat cake all with an Equestrian theme. She got a horse cake, horse gloves, new helmet, and a giant horse stuffy!!! 

Second Birthdays included a family gathering with the world famous torte for a cake! 

HatcherLand

 Aside from Macy's Birthday, Disneyland, and FSY we took Kaidy and Danielle to horses. Macy was more than happy to share the experience and enjoyed showing off some of her skills. It was even the first time that Macy got to ride over logs in the arena. 

There was also a fair amount of pickleball being played. Scott and Owen liked it so much that they ordered paddles. We also played plenty of card games, watched movies, and had some swim time!

AND! Let's not forget the A's Game!! We all got free hats, good seats, lots of food!! a hotdog is always better at a baseball game. Plus, cheaper and easier for us to go to an Anaheim game than a Padre game. We even got a great firework show!!!
